Voice. It's a powerful thing. Over the next 4 weeks, we'll examine the Scriptures, listen to podcasts, read articles, and noodle on transformational questions about voice.

Voice is such a personal, relational, spiritual, vulnerable, even painful subject.

I love this quote from K. Lewis. She said, "To have a voice is to be human. But speaking depends on listening and being heard. Voice is an intensely revelatory and relational act." But how is a woman to understand, embrace, and use her female voice when all the voices she hears are male?

In this time together, we will first listen to God. Then we will listen and be heard, all while building relationships with Jesus and each other along the way.

HERE'S WHAT WE'LL BE STUDYING

February 9 God Speaks – The Bible Tells Us So!

February 16 Spiritual Practice of Listening (Lectio Divino)

February 23 Jesus Elevated Women's Voices. (Conversation covers why women aren't heard in past & present, voice as revelatory & relational, and the history of our own voice story.)

March 2 Why Women Self-Silence/How We Elevate Her Voice

Here's how we're going to do this!

We meet on Zoom for four consecutive weeks. (You'll receive Zoom Link upon registration.) Tuesdays, February 9 from 7-8 PM to Mar. 2nd, 7-8 PM

I will email prep-materials each week and text you the day we meet to remind you of the link and password. If you have any further questions, please ask.

Looking forward to being with you,

Jackie
